About the Role
As a Visual Designer, you bring brands to life. From visual identity to campaign, from social content to presentations — you know how to translate a story into compelling visuals. With a strong foundation in graphic design and branding, you add extra dimension through motion design or animation, giving brands and campaigns even greater impact. You'll work across brand projects, campaigns, visual content, and print — always with an eye for detail and consistency. You contribute to concept development, creative brainstorms, and brand trajectories, and collaborate closely with digital designers, strategists, and copywriters. At Vandejong, we challenge you to grow, collaborate with our network of creatives, and help build the world of tomorrow.
You Are…
A visual thinker and maker: you have a strong sense of composition, typography, color, and visual language.
Experienced in branding and identity design: you know how to visually establish and grow a brand.
One to three years into your career as a visual designer, graphic designer, or brand designer.
Interested in motion design: you can animate designs in After Effects or similar tools — or you're eager to develop these skills further.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma.
Conceptually strong, but also practical and precise in execution.
A team player who's equally comfortable working independently.
Curious, professional, meticulous, and observant: you make sure everything aligns perfectly and that deadlines are met.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken — and preferably in Dutch as well, if not we would love it if you learn it.
Engaged with society: you're energized by purpose-driven projects.

We believe in the power of diversity. Only through different perspectives can we work toward a social, inclusive, and sustainable world — and arrive at innovative and surprising communication. Beyond your talent, quality, and motivation, you also bring your background and culture. That's why we warmly welcome applications from people with their own unique view of the world. We don't care where you come from, who you love, what your education level is, or how old you are. We're mostly curious about who you are and what you bring to Vandejong.

This Is Us
It's written large on our studio windows: work on the world! Because we believe it can be better — healthier, fairer, kinder. For 35 years, we've shown how creativity makes change possible. With like-minded people, we search for new meaning, and with a touch of activism, we make that change visible, recognizable, and tangible.
As a B Corp, we're also part of a global movement of companies building a more sustainable, equitable, and healthier future together.
